Hello, I*m Razvan Farkas from Romania, Timisoara The most important, i*m father of a daughter , so i must be a kind of example for atitude in life and also to be fit to run if it is case (father of a daughder/smileyface) As a runner i have to define me first as an 24h runner. I done 24h races 11 times before. As some mentions results .In 2018 the first national champion of Romania, than with 223km. 2021 and 2022 i was vicechampion. PB for 24h is 238km in 2021. PB for 12h 143km in 2022. Also winner of a beautiful 106km race Ultransilvania in Romania /2 times and any more. As what i think about ultrarunning is than not the km or time is the most important, all winishers all in there way winners, the most important is the story and what we learn from every race to grow as better peoples. Spartathlon is a very special story and that*s why i want to know it and integrate it in my lifexperience and share it for making people belive that anyone can be better then now.  Spartathlon revives the footsteps of Pheidippides, an ancient Athenian long distance runner, who in 490 BC, before the battle of Marathon, was sent to Sparta to seek help in the war between the Greeks and the Persians.

Described as the world's most grueling race, the Spartathlon runs over rough tracks and muddy paths, crosses vineyards and olive groves, climbs steep hillsides and, most challenging of all, takes the runners on the 1,200 meter ascent and descent of Mount Parthenio in the dead of night.
