Short CV:
I am a former Ironman Triathlte and finished the Ironman Hawaii 2 times in 2005, 2007. Else I did the Trans Germany race from Sylt to Zugspitze in 19 days and ran 1330 Km. Result place 10, 1. place M50. 2018 I finished my first 100 Mile race in 5. place at the Mauerweglauf Berlin and qualified for Sparta. 2019 same race Place. 6. The Spatathlon race I could not finish. Had to quit after 168 km close to Nestani with several problems, cought by the cut off time. My Team is : Team Icehouse (Germany)

 Spartathlon revives the footsteps of Pheidippides, an ancient Athenian long distance runner, who in 490 BC, before the battle of Marathon, was sent to Sparta to seek help in the war between the Greeks and the Persians.

Described as the world's most grueling race, the Spartathlon runs over rough tracks and muddy paths, crosses vineyards and olive groves, climbs steep hillsides and, most challenging of all, takes the runners on the 1,200 meter ascent and descent of Mount Parthenio in the dead of night.
