Hello everyone. I’ve had a lot of great experiences through the Spartathlon. Supporters and aid workers cheer the runners on saying "Bravo! Bravo!" These words give me great strength. And I want to give power to many people with these words. I really love this words “Bravo! Bravo!" and Spartathlon. I was a support staff for the Japanese team at the 24 hour World Championships in Albi,France in 2019. I cheered for the athletes for 24 hours with a tambourine at the 24 hour World Championships in Taipei,Taiwan in 2023.

 Spartathlon revives the footsteps of Pheidippides, an ancient Athenian long distance runner, who in 490 BC, before the battle of Marathon, was sent to Sparta to seek help in the war between the Greeks and the Persians.

Described as the world's most grueling race, the Spartathlon runs over rough tracks and muddy paths, crosses vineyards and olive groves, climbs steep hillsides and, most challenging of all, takes the runners on the 1,200 meter ascent and descent of Mount Parthenio in the dead of night.
