Being a complete novice I reached out to my local running club, after booking my first marathon on the Southdowns way. Little did I know at the time, this group had a special interest in running long. Having watched them for years, achieve the impossible, I never ever dreamed I would be in this position. I have been watching this race for so long, everything about it scares me, which is exactly why I can’t wait to line up I am also blessed to be lining up with some of my group friends.
