I entered for the Spartathlon in 2016 and was unsuccessful. However I then supported my friend on this run and Martin Ilott was successful. It was great fun and a very different experience. I have run a number of Ultra runs , most recently the 2016 Olympian in under 28hrs and also the Sakura Michi in 2015 which I completed in 34 hrs and 3minutes. For my training this year I have entered 3 races in the UK all between 135 and 146 miles. I recently completed the Spartathlon in 2017 in 35 hrs and 35 mins. In 2018 I will run the Doliho in April and the LLCR in August. I completed the Spartathlon in 2018 in 33 hrs and 48 minutes in the hurricane which was an experience.
