The August 28, 2011 he participated for the first time at the Ultra Trail du Mont Blanc and finished in fifth position in the overall standings. In 2012, of the seven events in which he competed he won five, and he was 4th at Marathon des Sables and Ultra Trail Mont Blanc. In July 16, 2013 he won, on his debut, the Badwater Ultramarathon, fullfilling the 217 kilometres in 24 hours and 38 minutes. In 2014 he occupied the podium at Badwater, this time in third place and he also returned for the fourth time to Marathon des Sables, having achieved the 4th place in the standings, having been the first European athlete. On 2015 has been 3rd at Trail Glazig (France), and 2nd at Trail Uewersauer (Luxembourg). He participated also in 2015 in Arrowhead, in Minesota, USA.
