Hello, May present myself... I'm Nadia Benaerens, nearly 50 Always looking for a challenge, pushing my limits and see where persistence and strength takes me! I'm a flight attendant/stewardess, crossing the skies for about 30 years...wow time flies ;-) I have been running ultra marathons for quite some years always with Spartathlon in the back of my mind! So, I participated and finished in GUCR 2015, 4 Ironmans, marathon des sables 2011 UTMB 2013, Xreid Hardangervidda 2014, several 100km races, Limburg zwaarste 2013, several other long distance races, but most of them longer ago. I would still like to run several other races, a small bucket list, but the first one I really want/would like to do it THE Spartathlon. Several of my fellow running friends have participated and finished and I would like to attempt to follow them. I participated last year and to my own big disappointment, I did not make it. Although my failure was difficult to process, I keep believing I can do this and I want to prove it! So, if given the opportunity, I would like to take revenge on myself this year!
